There are hundreds of pump types commercially available throughout the world today. Most can be classified as either centrifugal or positive displacement. Warren E. Rupp recognized limitations with a one-design-fits-all approach to solving difficult pumping problems. The SANDPIPER® air-operated, double diaphragm (AODD) (non-positive displacement) pump range offers customers a variety of unique problem solving AODD pump designs. Today, our core designs include heavy duty ball, heavy duty flap, containment duty, and standard duty configurations, enabling our customers “with more ways than one” to address their pumping needs. There is no other pump type on the market today that is so universally applicable and so responsive to pumping problem fluids. And helping customers make better-informed choices has been a hallmark commitment from Warren Rupp, Inc. for more than 40 years.

Technical Info Guide

Heavy Duty Ball - ideal for thin to viscous and small solids laden fluids
Heavy Duty Flap Valve - recommended for abrasive slurries, suspended and non-
suspended solids and line size solids requirements.
Containment Duty - provide safer handling of aggressive or hazardous liquids.
Standard Duty Metallic - have wetted components in Aluminum, Cast Iron, Stainless
Steel, and Hastelloy-C.  They provide exceptional suction lift capacity for solids-
free materials from low to high viscosity.
Standard Duty Non-metallic - are all- bolted construction  in PVDF, Nylon, Conductive.
High Pressure Duty - are air-powered, single diaphragm metallic pumps that deliver
discharge pressure twice the inlet pressure, up to 250 psi (17 bar), designed for filter
press feed or similar applications requiring higher discharge pressures.
Special Duty - include UL, USDA, Mine/Construction, Natural Gas-operated, and
Dewatering Duty pumps.
