Watson-Marlow Bredel pumps bring you...
Accurate and repeatable flow rates
Contamination free pumping - ideal for shear-sensitive fluids, viscous sludges or slurries, and aggressive acids and caustics
Easy to install, operate and maintain
Virtually maintenance free - no expensive seals, valves, diaphragms or rotors to leak, clog or corrode

Watson-Marlow 300 Series Process Pumps

The all-new 323 range brings a stunning new level of performance and quality to laboratory and process pumping. There are four new drives with five pumphead options. Click on the 323 range overview link to select from the full range.

The first part of the name designates the drive functionality, the second part, the pumphead.

The 323 range comes with a chemically resistant ABS top and IP31 protection. Up to 146: speed control is available with kpm resolution. The 323 is controlled with a membrane keypad and digital LCD displays speed.

313 three-roller or 314 four-roller pumpheads provide single-channel flows at up to 2000 ml/min, and up to six pumpheads can be fitted for lower flow rates. 313D2 and 314D2 pumpheads accept thicker wall tubing for stable performace at higher pressures or suction conditions or with more viscous fluids.

The higher performance drives can be fitted with the 501RL high-flow pumphead for single channel flow rates up to 2200 ml/min, or 314MC four-roller or 318MC eight-roller multi-channel pumpheads for up to ten channels of flow at up to 53 ml/min.

Mid-flow process and laboratory pumps - 500 series

The 500 series is Watson-Marlow's top-selling pump range for applications ranging from pulp & paper, printing and mining to food processing and from contact lens monomer dosing to industrial water and waste treatment.

  • 520 washdown pumps have NEMA 4X protection for industrial and process applications
  • 520 cased pumps have NEMA 2 wipedown ingress protection for clean process and non-washdown applications
  • Close-coupled pumps are fitted with industrial electrical or pneumatic drives with inverter or mechanical variator control options
  • 520Di dispensing pumps now with NEMA 4X washdown protection, provide fast, precise filling up to 250ml, and an X-Y robot and balance-controlled options.
  • New 520BpN PROFIBUS pumps for direct connection to PROFIBUS DP networks. Available in NEMA 2 and NEMA 4X options.
Watson-Marlow 600 Series Pumps

Watson-Marlow are world leaders in the fastest growing pump type for industry, so we set tough targets for the new 600 series. Increase pressure and flow, cut maintenance time to less than one minute and protect the process. 620 pumps in your process will:

  • Increase performance Up to 4.8 US gpm (18 liter/min); 60 psi (4 bar)
  • Maximize uptime Snap-fit LoadSure™ elements can give over six months life. Require less than one minute to change
  • Protect your process Clean-in-place and Steam-in-place as standard. NEMA 4X ingress protection against dust and fluids. Fluid containment and controlled waste. Process signal control and feedback

The new 620Bp PROFIBUS pumps allow direct connection to PROFIBUS DP networks, available in Nema 2 and Nema 4X options.

Watson-Marlow 700 series process pumps

The 700 series provides the high-flow capability for Watson-Marlow's cased pumps with flow rates up to 8.8 GPM.

Two ranges provide solutions to suit your process needs. Tubing options and material choices ensure even aggressive chemicals can be pumped. Fluid is contained in the tubing, preventing contamination. The tubing is the only consumable; no ancillaries are required making installation easy and cost of ownership low.

NEMA 4X cased pumps - Control and functionality, comprehensive efficient brushless DC motor. Tough NEMA 4X enclosure for washdown and arduous environments.

Baseplate mounted pumps - Single and three-phase industrial drives mounted on baseplates with an inverter, pneumatic or duplex options, fixed speed.

The 700 series of pumps are the perfect solution for industrial customer needs.

PROFIBUS DP - The new 720Bp/R pumps allow direct connection into PROFIBUS DP networks.

Bredel High-Flow High-Pressure Hose Pumps

Bredel engineering created an entirely new type of pump - the high-pressure hose pump. Its patented technology achieved what was believed to be impossible: the unbeatable simplicity, reliability and low maintenance needs of peristaltic pumping brought to high-flow, high-pressure duties.

Today, 75,000 Bredel pumps are at work around the world at flow rates up to 350 gpm and pressures up to 230 psi. Hose pumps are the future, and they work. Tens of thousands of pump users know there isn't a more rugged and reliable solution to pumping problems than a Bredel.

Download our Bredel overview brochure below for an in-depth view on how our Bredel hose pumps are ideal for high flow, high pressure applications that pump aggressive, viscous, or abrasive slurries.

Watson-Marlow Tubing Selection

The tubing is as important as the pump because:

  • Restitution creates suction lift
  • Strength resists pressure
  • Flex resistance determines pumping life
  • Bore decides the flow rate
  • Wall thickness controls pumping efficiency

Ordinary tubing is not designed for peristaltic pumping, and only Watson-Marlow precision pump tubing will give the best results in a Watson-Marlow pump. The results of using any other tubing are unpredictable, and may jeopardise your process.
